Going to egypt on a budget travel tour – guides buddy ?

any seasoned traveller going egypt in december, would kindly like to recommend a nice guide or who want to meet up there ?and i m on a budget travel tour, is it possible to visit aswan, luxour and cairo within 10 days ?

yes, it is possible to do this, first get yourself a good guide book for budget travel tour i like the lonely planet guides. if you start in Cairo you can see the Giza pyramids, the museum, ( most important)maybe khan El khalili and saquarra and memphis as well. 2 days. fly or take the night train to luxor this is cheaper but you need advice on how to get tickets ( I'm not sure cos i have never done it)in luxor use taxis to get around and see the valley of the kings, valley of the queens, deir el bahri, karnak temple, ether the small museum there and or luxor temple. minimum 2 days. to get to Aswan you can take a taxi or coach or fly if you have time and money you can cruise to Aswan 2 days sailing. fabulous experience. on route see edfu and kom ombo. at Aswan see Philae and the unfinished obelisk , take a coach ride( 4 hours each way) or flight to abu simble. a further 2 days. i would build in a rest day as well which leaves you with 3 more days. You could use these to visit the red pyramid and the Benny pyramid in Cairo. or the valley of the artisans and or valley of nobles and medinet habu , rameseum. all of the above are worth seeing. but you need to decide if maybe this schedule is so hectic you will not remember the different places or be too tired to appreciate them. if you want more advice contact me

Chitwan National park is nice place to visit during October. My suggestion is to book a lodge or resort at Chitwan from Kathmandu itself. You may get discount package of Pokhara and Chitwan tour including safari, jungle walk, tourist guides etc. If you really want a very cheap lodges then you can get at the spot itself but you have to bargain. The price at the situation depends upon the number of tourists visiting at that time. Price fluctuates based on the number of visitors. But if you book from Kathmandu, you don't have to worry.
Anyway, from my last experience, but long ago, 5 years ago, room may cost around NRs 500. Food cost (Nepali rice, vegetables, lentils) NRs 150. The elephant ride may cost you US$ 10-20 (including entry fee). The price may have changed by now I am not sure.

You don't need a travel agency–just buy a ticket online, get a guide book and go. As for your parents, they might feel better if you present them with a very detailed itinerary and promise to call home everyday. If this is totally out of the realm of possibility, why don't you try to organize a family trip to Europe, then ask if you can bring a friend (who will pay his/her way of course). This way you're more or less chaperoned, but you and friend can have little adventures on your own.
I strictly recommend not to hold back until you get big sum of money to order goods! You can just take the loans or just auto loan and feel free
