Are you able to enjoy a successful budgettravel holiday at home?
Shella Asked:
Are you able to enjoy a successful budgettravel holiday at home? The new trend in these straightened times is to spend holidays at home. Are you able to have as good a holiday at home as you would be if you went away? Perhaps it would help to say where home is!

The first time my husband took me to Oahu, where he grew up and his family still lives, I was skeptical. My knowledge of the place didn’t extend much beyond Don Ho and hula, and it all sounded a little kitschy for my taste. But after five days of seeing his version of the island—hidden beaches, hikes that opened up to impossibly blue water, and a whole new genre of food—I was so in love that we moved there a few months later. We’re back on the mainland these days, but we return to visit his parents regularly, and we always head off on the same route: an elongated circle around the Koolau Range that takes us to our favorite haunts in quick—and beautiful—succession.

That would fit into the picture of Barack’s ending of the Neoliberalist economic policies, that created budget airlines, and that will reinstate the bureaucratic corporatism with its Monopolies
Outstanding practical real money saving tips… thousands of dollars in savings here… thank you. Very well done.
All good advice on here so far.
Some points to ponder:
Don't take with you more than you yourself can carry.
Don't take expensive items. (If you have to take expensive items make sure the insurance company knows about them in advance)
Don't take unnecessary risks or do foolish things. The company may not pay out if you do something that you should know better about. Remember there is probably an undercurrent of nasty people in almost every country – or even town, who will take advantage of you if you give them the opportunity.
Read your policy carefully before signing.
Recently a case was highlighted when a girl arrived back in the country, but her baggage, and items she'd forwarded ahead went missing. The insurance company would not pay out because their policy terminated the moment she set foot in her own country.
Just check the small print.
Have a good trip with – plenty of peace of mind.
If you don't take out insurance, you're most likely going to need it.
