Some schools block out travel drives unless you are admin. (Teachers, IT staff) Even if you were to contact IT I highly doubt they would change their policies so you can use your travel drive. The only suggestion I can offer you is for you to email files back and forth and open them through your email.

As a former employee of one of the big three, I think it always pays to check all of the sites and supplier direct. But a lot of people also go with who they have the best relationship with. For flights, I usually book with the airline because they often require the other sites to charge an additional fee.

I think that if you read the fine print in whatever agreement gives you standby flight privilege, you'll find serious limitations on how and for what purpose you can use that privilege.
Additionally, there are zillions of other legal ramifications that you'd have to be aware of—being able to fly for free is in fact almost insignificant compared to these other considerations, if you want to do things legally.
The way movies are promoted right now, and the role social media plays when it comes to conveying the first impression that a movie has caused effectively mean it is not difficult to know which movies are showing, and which of these movies are actually worth it. Still, sites like “Should I Watch That Movie Or What?” do not go amiss.
